The Fauquier County Republican Committee (“FCRC”) is the “County Unit” for Fauquier County, Virginia authorized by and operated under the rules of the Republican Party of Virginia.
The FCRC determines the methods of Party nomination for local and constitutional public offices and manages these nomination processes. The FCRC also functions in conjunction with the Republican State Central Committee and Legislative District Committees in election affairs and fundraising activities.
The FCRC is an all volunteer organization composed of registered voters in Fauquier County. FCRC members are united by the principles set forth in the Virginia Republican Creed:
We Believe:
That the free enterprise system is the most productive supplier of human needs and economic justice,
That all individuals are entitled to equal rights, justice, and opportunities and should assume their responsibilities as citizens in a free society,
That fiscal responsibility and budgetary restraints must be exercised at all levels of government,
That the Federal Government must preserve individual liberty by observing Constitutional limitations,
That peace is best preserved through a strong national defense,
That faith in God, as recognized by our Founding Fathers is essential to the moral fiber of the Nation.
The Fauquier County Republican Committee is organized and operates under the Republican Party of Virginia Plan of Organization and the FCRC Bylaws, with the provision that any bylaws’ provisions conflicting with the RPV Plan are void, and, consequently, the RPV Plan provisions shall apply in lieu thereof.
